BORN IN FLORIDA, Parker now resides in CHarleston where he enjoys the deep-rooted sense of community and small-town familiarity. he thinks the fishing is pretty great, too.


Parker has been practicing law since 2011. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as a nationally-published freelance journalist, award-winning BBQ cook, and dive-bar musician. Every once in a while, he’ll still dabble in these pursuits. 

2011 | State Attorney’s Office. The SAO is the state entity charged with prosecuting criminal offenses. Due to the heavy case-load and frequency of trial, it is considered one of the most intensive crash-courses in criminal law and trial practice. While in law school, Parker served as an intern for the SAO 2nd Judicial Circuit of Florida, where he assisted prosecutors on capital sexual battery cases. After receiving his JD, Parker went on to serve as a Felony Prosecutor and Assistant State Attorney at the 9th Judicial circuit of Florida, where he managed the highest case-load in his division.

2012 | Zwicker & Associates. Parker also has extensive civil trial experience gained from serving as the primary trial attorney for national firm Zwicker & Associates at their Florida office. His time spent litigating complicated contractual disputes has given him considerable experience in drafting and negotiating complex and multifaceted contracts for individuals and business entities.

2014 – present | Parker Hastings, Attorney, LLC. Parker currently practices both criminal and civil law in Charleston, SC. He continues to serve civil clients in Florida.

2014 – present | BACE League of Charleston, Inc. While studying for the SC Bar, Parker also assisted Elliott in forming BACE League of Charleston ("Business, Art, Culture, Entertainment"). He currently serves as a Spokesperson and Legal Counsel for the organization.


In 2011, Parker Graduated from The Florida State University College of Law. There Parker served as the Law School’s Student Representative to the State Bar Association. He also served as a research intern at the State Attorney’s Office for the 2nd Judicial Circuit of Florida.


In his spare time, Parker remains an avid musician, BBQ cook, and outdoorsman. Most weekends you can find him surf fishing on one of Charleston’s many beautiful beaches.
